Not All Accepted It

Not All Accepted It

A Poem, By Joy Aletheia Stevens

~

I may not be the best,
Not high above the rest,
But I am not below the others here.

~

There are times all lose the way.
But all can return, if they may.
Nothing hinders you from drawing near.

~

All are the same in His eyes,
All worth the same penalty,
And He paid the same price.

~

None condemned more,
For none less salvation.
All equally unequal to heaven.

~

For all did He die,
Only Him, in His grace, knew why,
And to all He held out His gift.

~

Only one difference there be,
And this difference is key:
Not all accepted it.

~Joy Aletheia Stevens
