You Live In Me
A Poem, By Joy Aletheia Stevens
~
Lord that I could be
A testament unto thee
That You I’d ever seek
With every word that I speak
~
Let me sing in tongues of angels
So the world might hear and know
Let my life prove true these fables
Man disregarded long ago
~
In the stillness of creation
Let my footsteps praise Your name
And every tongue, tribe, every nation
Hear what I proclaim
~
You are the Lord of all the heavens
You are the God of all the seas
And it’s Your life that I am liven
Because my God, You live in me
~
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is your true and proper worship. Romans 12:1

Another good post. I liked the aspect of being a testament — but not just based on my words and actions — but a result of Christ in me. That is an ongoing theme that I love to write about and ponder. Thank you.
