Open our ears,

So that we might hear.

Open our eyes,

So that we might see.

Open our hearts,

Lord, open our hearts!

Pour in us Your life!

God heal this strife!

Make us tender,

Tender to Your Word.

Destroy the ice of winter.

Pierce us with Your sword.

Strike our hearts in two!

Destroy us with Your love!

Let us die in You,

And so live, and live as love!

Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. Psalm 63:3
