Welcome to the new The Joyful Truth!

I can not even say how excited I am to open the site up for everyone! Every part of this site has been lovingly touched and I’m thrilled to pieces over the complete image I have to present to you today. It’s taken hours and days and weeks of work and research. It’s taken loads of support from family and friends.

Welcome!

Almost every photo is new. All of them accredited and linked that need to be. It took me more than a month to sort through them, and over the journey I found a few that were incredible. As one example check out the featured posts scrolling through the top of the front page, there is one with an image that perfectly fit with my God Gave Me a Rose poem, you’ll know it when you see it. It’s like the image was meant for that poem.

Everything is just so beautiful, from the sharing buttons and related posts plugin at the bottom of each post, to the subscribe buttons in the sidebar. And there are so many more options to subscribe! Feel free to explore! The navigation has been simplified as much as possible, and I hope that it helps encourage you to look around and see what you find.

This whole site has been a project of love, and a gift to me as well as to my readers. The initial financing for hosting and for the premium theme came as a Birthday gift from my dear Grandmother Donna. And I’m so proud of the image in the header which my brother David Beck did the design work for, and my Mom invested hours helping me talk out my vision, I’m blessed by the talent of the artists in my family. I’ve been humbled by the belief in me my entire family has demonstrated. I want to take a moment to thank them for their support, especially my husband. I love you!

My Daughter is probably going to miss this design process. I kept having to resort to letting her watch VeggieTales while I worked. Yeah, she’s going to miss that.

But now we’re ready to move to a new stage for The Joyful Truth! I humbly open the site to you today. I invite you to stay awhile, to read, to like posts you’ve liked before. (likes and share numbers don’t translate in the transition) Everything is still here.

Click over to the café press gift shop, it’s not much yet, but it’s a start, and I’ve reduced the prices for opening week.

Looking forward I’ll be placing ads soon. We’ll play around with the idea, find out what works best for us and for the site and for the vision of what it is to be. I’ll be starting up book reviews with affiliate links. And as always, I’ll be here sharing my thoughts, my poetry, my heart, and sharing my Lord and Savior with you.

This site is dedicated to my Lord and my Savior. If I knew how to have a dedication ceremony and anoint a website I would! But at the very least I will write it here:
