So, Monday I was browsing around my Facebook feed, wondering my general wonderings: What am I doing? How can I make my blog a resource that can help people? What do I do now? What do I write now?

When I spotted a post:

Here at Good Morning Girls – You Belong

By Monday night my head was bursting with thoughts, ideas, and plans.

I’d heard of Good Morning Girls before, I’d read blogs about different ladies current study with them, about the SOAK method they tended to use, and the colorful way they filled out their Bible pages. But I hadn’t actually looked into it before.

As I read through this post, it just struck me. Why not?

Why not join in? Why not be one of those bloggers sharing her Bible study adventures? I already do that, just not in a focused way. Why not plug into a community that can give me that focus, with resources I can share with my readers to help them really dig into the Word themselves?

I’d already been thinking about doing some posts about how to study the Bible. I’d even been thinking about blogging about several of the study methods they use, including the SOAK method, because, well, I already used them!

The rest of the day was full of a scramble as I tried to get things just so, their new study is opening up on Acts on the 7th, that isn’t much time! They have Facebook Group small groups! I can lead those! Should I do an in-person group with some of my friends? Maybe. I’m definitely going to be blogging along!

So that is the plan! I’m very excited!

The Joyful Truth: GMG Bible Study

If you don’t want to be in the Facebook Group, or if it is already closed, don’t worry! You can still participate! I’m going to be blogging along, participating in linkups with the main site and sharing my Bible Study journey here on the Blog. I’ll be sharing resources aplenty so you can join in, and you can share your own thoughts in the comments on my GMG posts!

This is only the beginning friends! I’m so excited by the ideas I’m getting for sharing resources with you! I’m excited to blog through Acts with you! I’m excited to be starting to figure out ways I can serve you, not just with my thoughts, but with recourses and ideas you can implement in your life!
