The world seems so void of light these days.
Another week, another shooting. Is it only me that feels weariness in my very soul? Light seems drowned by darkness.
And this one? In my state, not all that near but still in a town where someone I know resides. Close enough that someone I knew was posting to tell friends and family that she was safe, that her husband was in lock-down where he was, but was also safe.
I couldn’t even think about it. I’d already hit my limit in being able to respond with my words to horror in the world.
But as the days went by I knew I had to speak.
Not to debate the whys, not to condemn, not to comment on the fears in the world.
But to share something else, something I desperately need myself.
To share Hope, and Life.
And as I struggle myself to find it, I turn to my Source, and I turn to His Words.

So today, let me share words infinitely more precious than any I could write.
Words that bring Hope, and Life.

“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.
