We’re in the Final Countdown! The Homestretch!

That’s right people! Just one more week until the new site opens!

This will be the FINAL Monday Construction update.

Things slowed down considerably last week. Got home from camping Wednesday but found myself to tired to really do much for the site for a few days. It was a good tired but it was still a tired. I’d caught a cold right before leaving for the camping trip, and though it didn’t slow me down so much that I couldn’t have fun, it still made me a bit more tired than I would have been otherwise.

However, the lake was beautiful, refreshing, calming, everything I needed. It was my baby girls first time camping and it was so very fantastic to see!

As far as the site is concerned I have 59 Photo’s left to be taken care of, I may or may not get to all of them before opening day. There are also some early posts that I’d like to edit up a bit, but again, I may not quite get to every last one before opening, however, I’m sure going to try!

This weekend I’m going to transfer all WordPress.com subscribers over to the new site, I will also discontinue posting from the old site. So hopefully all subscribers will be transferred smoothly. I’ll place a final post to the old site as a final notification of the site change, I will leave that up for one week, and then the old site will be placed to private and officially unavailable.

There is still a lot of design work to do, but I’m hopeful that when the site goes live the look and feel will be ready!
