Yay for featuring beautiful bloggers! Today on the blog I’m featuring Brittany Bush from Overdue Organizing! Over at her blog you’ll find tips and tricks and resources on everything you need to organize our life! I don’t know about you, but that tends to be something I need desperately!
Everybody say hi!
How did you come up with your blog name?
Every time I thought I had come up with a good blog name, I’d search for it and find that it was already taken! My previous blog (Super Librarian) was a play on my maiden name, Super, and my profession. So I brainstormed words that related to being a librarian, and the word “overdue” popped into my head. I think we all have some overdue organizing projects that we need motivation to tackle!
How do you hope to inspire readers with your blog?
I hope to show them that organizing can be easy, fun, and inexpensive – it doesn’t have to be a chore. I hope that they are motivated to work on creating order in their homes and lives.
What is your biggest organizing challenge?
The kitchen table! Right now it sort of functions as a “drop zone” where everything gets set down when we home at night. I am constantly trying to clear it off and get my husband to put his stuff away as well. I think the fact that we used to work opposite schedules and never had dinner together led us to use the table as a storage space. Now that we are both home in the evenings & have a son, I’d like to start eating dinner as a family at the table!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to read! As a teen librarian, I try to keep up with the latest and greatest YA books, and I always have a few books going at once. I often listen to audiobooks while I clean & organize to help pass the time. And I love reading blogs, too!
