I’m asking you readers, to come on a journey with me.
The purpose of this Blog is simple, to explore the beauty of God. It is devotional in nature and often inspired by my own personal devotional times, my own thinkings and musings.
You can expect poetry, some of which was written years ago, some written not so long ago. Nearly everything is original and my personal work, if not it will be noted. I quote a lot of scripture, mostly from the NIV but I use other translations as well.
My only hope and desire is that God may in some way use my words to touch a place in your heart and to reveal Himself to you in a new and closer way.
It would be my honor if my words and thoughts can in any way bless you and help you know Him better, however I’m very aware that without His work in and through me my words are nothing.
God is The Joyful Truth!
~
If I could but compose
A bit of meaningful prose
If I could but sing
A song to set the soul on wing
~
I somehow know I can
I know the talents at hand
But it doesn’t belong to me
Only God has the key
~
So Lord unlock this talent
And let music come out, valiant
Let this talent praise Your name
And change people so they are never the same.
